Congratulations to Chris Reynolds, Colten Bradford and Lisa Cherry for their recent promotions in the communications department at the AIEC.
Chris Reynolds has been promoted to Chief Creative Officer. In this role, he is the head of the communications department, which includes Energized Graphics and Illinois Country Living magazine. Reynolds joined the AIEC in February 2006 as a graphic artist and was later promoted to coordinator of web services, assistant creative services manager and manager of creative services for Energized Graphics. Prior, he worked for Montgomery County Journal News doing layout and design. He graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a bachelor’s in visual communication.
Colten Bradford has been promoted to become Illinois Country Living’s 10th editor. He joined ICL in 2017 as the assistant editor after working for Safe Electricity (a public awareness program) as a communications specialist. During his time with ICL, Bradford assisted electric co-ops with local content, wrote feature stories, edited, and helped cook and bake for the Finest Cooking pages. He has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in communications from the University of Illinois Springfield.
Lisa Cherry has been promoted to ICL’s assistant editor. She joined the AIEC in 2018 as the creative services assistant manager for Energized Graphics and staff writer for ICL. In her new role, Cherry will write and edit in addition to assisting electric co-ops with their local pages. Prior to joining the AIEC, Cherry worked for The Daily Press and as communications director for International Cooperating Ministries, both in Virginia. She is a graduate of Lincoln Land Community College and Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a bachelor’s in English.
