Who can register for the AIEC Annual Meeting?
Electric and Telephone Cooperative Directors, Employees and Managers can register.
Do I have to pay when I register?
You have the option to pay at time of registration with a credit card, or can choose the ‘bill to (your co-op)’ option when checking out, which will make your invoice available directly to your co-ops designated administrator.
What if the amount on the invoice is incorrect?
If you think your bill is incorrect, contact the AIEC Accounting Department at (217) 529-5561. Invoices will be generated from online registration information.
What is the cancellation policy for the event?
Cancellations made prior to the registration deadline will not be charged.
Cancellations made after July 15 will be charged for meals reserved for attendees and guests as follows:
- Board Chairs’/Presidents’ Breakfast ($25) (if applicable)
- Leaders’ Luncheon ($35)
- ACRE Breakfast ($25)
Meeting “no-shows” will be charged the $325 registration fee, the Board Chairs’/Presidents’ Breakfast (if applicable), and any guest meals for which they registered.

Who is eligible to attend the Board Chairs’/Board Presidents’ Breakfast?
The breakfast is open to ONLY the Board Chairs and Board Presidents of the electric and telephone cooperatives. If co-op CEOs fall into that category, they are eligible to attend – (Ex. Chair of a G&T board). If you are unsure, please contact Christina Harper at (217) 241-7925 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
If I registered for the event, where do I get my meeting materials?
All registrants will obtain their meeting materials at the AIEC Registration Desk on the hotel’s 2nd Floor.
Do I need a meal ticket to get into the Thursday night reception?
You will not need a ticket, but will need to register all in your party to insure there are accurate meal counts.
Can children attend the Thursday night reception?
Children are welcome, but must be registered to attend the reception.
Do I need to register for the Thursday morning Ladies Event to attend?
To insure there is enough food and supplies, we ask that you register for the event by July 15.
Who is eligible to attend the ACRE Leadership Circle & President’s Club Reception?
The event is only open to those individuals who have paid their ACRE dues and are at the Leadership Circle or President’s Club levels.
Who is eligible to attend the Illinois ACRE Breakfast Friday morning?
Only ACRE contributors who have registered for the meal ahead of time are eligible to attend the ACRE Breakfast.
What if I have a problem with my guestroom bill?
If the issue can’t be resolved through the hotel, contact Ashley Graham at (217) 241-7916 or email@example.com.
What if I have a medical emergency?
Depending on the severity of the issue, dial 911, notify the hotel front desk (Dial 0), or notify the AIEC registration desk. Both the AIEC and the hotel have AED equipment, and all AIEC employees have been trained in CPR.
When is hotel checkout on Friday?
Check-out is at 11:00 a.m.
