Unmanned Aircraft Systems Certification Course

This is a two-day course to assist individuals in gaining their FAA Part 107 UAS Certification. The curriculum will cover everything that you need to know to pass the aeronautical knowledge test at the end of the course. Subjects to be covered include FAA UAS regulations, weather, National Airspace System, airport operations, aeronautical decision making, radio communications and more. Included in the workshop are practice tests as well as completing the FAA knowledge test for certification.
Instructors for this course:
Course instructors are assistant professor Steve Goetz, associate professors Mike Robertson and Bryan Harrison, and flight instructor Ken Bro from the Aviation Management and Flight Department. From the Aviation Technologies Department; Harry Fanning, lecturer, and Dr. Charles Rodriguez, visiting lecturer.
