2021 NRECA Legislative Conference
- April 19, 2021 - April 23, 2021
8:00 am - 5:00 pm
The 2021 NRECA Legislative Conference will be held virtually April 19-23. Although the conference will be online this year, you will still have the opportunity to network with your electric co-op peers, hear about the latest legislative issues impacting the electric co-op industry, and connect with your representatives on Capitol Hill. Registration closes April 12.
Monday (April 19) — NRECA will host educational sessions that focus on electric cooperatives’ policy priorities and best practices for advocating with Members of Congress in a virtual environment. Attendees will also hear from the Distinguished Service Award winner, Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa.
Tuesday (April 20) – Friday (April 23) — The AIEC is working to set up virtual advocacy meetings via Zoom with our IL delegation. Our hope is to be able to schedule them all on Tuesday (April 20) and Wednesday (April 21) as we normally would, but Thursday and Friday is a possibility depending on availability of the delegation. As always, we will do our best to not have the meetings overlap, while keeping the schedule as concise as possible.
NRECA will be sharing conference updates on the Legislative Conference (cooperative.com) page on cooperative.com.
